Apologies || KC & Tori
Tori slipped a black Vans hoodie that she’d taken from Zig sometime during their relationship over her head. It was definitely too big for her but she knew it’d keep her warm enough for the night. Her dark curls were shoved into a messy bun on the top of her head, figuring that she didn’t have to style it because she wasn’t going to be there to impress KC. Instead, she was going to attempt an apology to him that was going to be hard enough as it was to accept. Tori then slid her feet into a pair of warm Ugg boots, letting out a quiet sigh as she did so. She wished it weren’t so late in the night so that she could have met him somewhere publicly and without having to sneak out and risk being murdered by her parents for it. Once she received his address she tucked her phone into her back pocket, expertly climbing out of her window to leave. The entire way to the apartment complex was filled with the combination of her being terrified of being mugged in the sketchy area and her reciting what she was even going to say to the older boy once she did get there. Sending him messages on tumblr was undoubtedly a lot easier, seeing as she didn’t have to see his disapproving face at every word she’d spit out.
Tori felt like it took forever to find the exact place KC resided, her head staying confidently lifted so as to not stick out like a sore thumb. The last thing she needed was to be harassed or attacked tonight, especially in this neighborhood where the only person she knew wouldn’t come out to help her. She let out a sigh of relief as she finally reached the building, quickly making her way inside to escape the winter air. It wasn’t that much warmer inside, as she should have expected, however anything was better than the cold wind slapping against her body. Tori pulled out her phone to make sure she was going to the right floor and door and, after what felt like 10 minutes of roaming the building she finally arrived at the door. The apartment complex was dingy, something she wasn’t really used to - ever. Maybe that was why KC had never asked her to go over there instead during their short-lived friendship. But she put those thoughts aside as she opened up a countdown on her phone, setting it for 10 minutes on the dot. If he only wanted to let her talk for 10 minutes then that was how long she’d take to apologize to him; nothing more. With her free hand, Tori slowly brought it up to knock on the door, stepping back to wait for someone to answer.
